Made from the energy of the sun, beeswax is a synthesis of the earth’s plant and animal kingdoms being a product manufactured by the bees from the nectars and pollens they collect. We merely collect the wax, render it and make the candles.

So, our candles are made from 100% pure beeswax and are hand made by Carol – aka – The Bee Widow. We have a range of moulded and rolled candles to suit a variety of needs. These include church and table candles as well as solid beeswax candles.

As our candles are all hand-made so variations may occur in burn times given. To get the best from our candles, burn in a suitable container - we recommend a candle holder with a spike - keep out of drafts, trim the wick after around 2 hours and burn for around 3-4 hours at a time. If a well of wax occurs, snuff and allow to harden; or carefully pour excess into a suitable container (remember it’s hot). The candle will give off a pleasant aroma & provides a soft, warmer light than an ordinary candle.
